Each lamp in addition to other elements of
the design is the so-called "chuck" – simply. It's a part of the lamp
which is inserted or screwed threaded lamp base. There is a conventional
alphanumeric system type designation of the cap, which is shared by all
manufacturers of lighting equipment:
XXYYz - where XX is one or two capital letters indicating the type
and subtype of the lamp cap,
YY - is a number indicating the diameter
of the connecting portion of the cap or on the distance
between the contact pins of the cap,
Z - lowercase letter indicates the number
of contact plates, flexible joints or pins in the basement .
First Latin capital letter indicates the type of cap:
- The letter B is a pin socket (bayonet)
- Letter E indicates a screw cap, also
called Edison Screw
- Letter of the G - pin
- Letter P - focusing
- Letter R - plinth with recessed contact
- Letter S - soffit base
The second capital letter is a subtype of
the cap, not common, mainly in the "pin base."
Last lowercase Latin letter:
- S - one contact
- D- two pins
- T - three contacts
- Of q - four pins
- P - five contacts
GU10 ceramic lamp holder is in the lamp
socket. The figures indicate in the distance between the centers of
the pins and pins for more of the diameter of the circle on which the center
